What is CrossFit?

This is a common misconception. You do not need to get in to shape to come to CrossFit and get in to shape. We can take you as you are and help you reach your fitness goals through semi-personal training, community support, and scaling of all workouts. Scaling is the adjustment of a workout to specifically suit the athlete.

Don't I have to be in shape before I can start CrossFit?

Some boxes do beginners classes but here at Admiration CrossFit, we think that coming in to the regularly scheduled classes and joining the community right away is the best way to assimilate yourself with the programming, the members, and the coaches. We promise that you will find that a beginner's class is just not necessary simply due to the fact that a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer will be watching your every move and coaching you throughout the entire process.

What kind of gear do I need to bring to class?

When you come to class, make sure you are wearing basic exercise clothing. T-Shirts or tank tops, shorts of performance pants, and tennis shoes are all pretty standard. 

Gear that is pretty common for new CrossFitters to need includes neoprene knee sleeves, wrist wraps, and hand guards.
